The Empty Chair
In a small café by the sea, there was always an empty chair by the window. Every morning, an old man would sit there, sipping his coffee in silence, staring out at the waves.
No one knew who he was waiting for, but every day, he was there.
One evening, as the sun dipped into the horizon, a young woman walked into the café, her eyes searching the room. She paused at the window, where the chair sat, empty once again.
With a gentle sigh, she sat down, facing the sea.
And for the first time in years, the man’s chair was no longer empty.
